Dr. Himanshu Desai (M.D. PSYCHIATRY, D.P.M.) is consultant psychiatrist at Ahmedabad. Having completed his Diploma in Psychological Medicine (D.P.M.) from B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, he went on to pursue M.B.B.S. from Shree M.P. Shah Medical College, Saurashtra University, Jamnagar. Later, he continued with the B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, for his M.D. in psychiatry.
He was the President of Gujarat Psychiatric Society for 2011-12.
At present, he is the director at GIPS, Ahmedabad. Alongside, he is working at

The list doesn’t end here, he is a founder and managing trustee of a registered NGO named the UDAN Foundation, where they are working for de-addiction and mental health.
He was a writer for the column “Aanti Ghuti” in Woman Bhaskar of Daily Divya Bhaskar.
He’s taking lectures on Mental Health Awareness and also presented research papers in the National Conference.
